What Am I Doing?

I (Tim Lotz) will be going to Uganda, Africa on January 4th, 2013. Before then I am going to try to raise money for shoes for the kids in Oditel (the village I am going to) because they don't have shoes to walk to school in and there are alot of foot infections. To do this I am going to get pledges for every day I go without shoes. My goal is 100 days. But you can help too. You can make a one time donation on this page. If you don't have that much money you can donate a used pair of flip-flops (flip-flops are best because they don't wear out as fast and they fit more sizes) I will be starting on September 1st. Wish me luck!

Day-26

I have two things to say today. The first one is that Gabe, a kid from my school, came up to me and told me that he had thought about going without shoes. We talked a little and now he is also going without shoes. If your reading this Gabe, thanks for the support! The second thing I have to say is, thanks to all of you guys that donated. We have offically met our second goal. This means that every orphan in Oditel will get a pair of shoes and a Bible of their very own.  From here on out we are still raising money to try to get shoes for every kid in the village (not just the orphans). I really believe that we can raise enough money to do this. Thanks for all the support everybody! (Also, I am past a quarter of the way there.)
